Hi Parents and Friends of Riverside!
The Variety Show approaches! It is so wonderful to watch the kids of Riverside shine on stage, and they have so much fun doing it, too!
Here’s some handy info for you if you don’t know already:
- PFRD Food/Bake Sale/Refreshments/Spirit Wear/Ticket Booth will be open starting at 5. We will have dinner items on the menu like pupusas, pizza, and kabobs in addition to our famous Bake Sale items. M Street Coffee will be hosting the coffee and hot cocoa beverages. VIP ticketholders can show their tickets and get a bake sale item FREE!
- Auditorium doors will open at 6 so you’ll have time to eat and peruse the awesome Opportunity Baskets from each classroom until then. If you did not purchase VIP tickets (first 5 rows), then seating is general admission. The show will start promptly at 6:30. The show usually runs 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
- If you pre-purchased raffle tickets, they are a different color– do not be alarmed! We also recorded your ticket numbers in case you misplace them between now and the time of the show. Please make sure you write a name and room number on each ticket before putting them in the cans!
- If you purchased Variety Grams, there will be a box at the ticket table to deposit them into. We will attach treats to them and deliver them to the performers backstage during the show!
- Opportunity Basket cans will be sealed at show’s end on Saturday, and Ms. Kessler will draw the winners of the baskets on the following Monday (April 23) morning. Baskets will be stored safely in the Parent Center for pickup after school on Monday.
