Governance Council Meetings will be held the 2nd Thursday of every month.

If you would like to be on the agenda of a Charter meeting, please contact one of the following members of the Executive Committee five (5) business days or more prior to a meeting. Anyone not on the agenda may still have the opportunity to speak briefly during the public speaking time at the meeting.

CHARTER COMMITTEES
The following Charter committees have been organized. Each committee currently has 3-4 teachers/staff participants. Parents/Riverside Drive Community Members are encouraged to join a committee and participate in the change that is now Riverside Drive Charter. If any of these committees interest you, please contact Anjalika Nigam at anjalikanigam@gmail.com.
SAFETY
- Update and maintain school safety plan
- Monitor plant management as it pertains to safety
- Prepare for practice drills
TECHNOLOGY
- Develop technology plan.
- Research, assess and recommend technology needs for the school.
GRANT WRITING
- Research and submit applications for appropriate grants that serve the basis of our Charter
- Work with the various committees to address grant needs
CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION
- Assess the needs of and maintain a clean (and safe as it pertains to cleanliness) campus
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
- Promote school community activities
- Develop public relations strategies
- Coordinate school/community support services
FINANCE / BUDGET
- Maintain and monitor the budget
CURRICULUM / PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Develop and evaluate academic programs
- Develop and evaluate special programs
- Facilitate testing
- Monitor student outcomes
STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Detail a one-year-plan and 5-year-plan in accordance with the Riverside Drive Charter petition outline
- Monitor the plan; Ensure that each goal is being met
