SUPER SCHOOL ESCORTS NEEDED

WHEN:  January 23 – March 2

Folks, Super School is in need of Kindergarten escorts.  What are Kindergarten escorts?  They are the wonderful individuals who walk our lovely Kinder students to their Super School class.  The commitment is from 2:20p – 2:45p (1:20p – 1:45p on Tuesdays).

In return, the committed escort for that session will receive one class free in that session (excludes Violin class).

VARIETY SHOW AUDITIONS

WHEN:  Wednesday, February 8 & Friday, February 10

It is time once again for the annual Riverside Drive Variety Show!  We are looking forward to a terrific show featuring the unending talents of the Riverside Drive community.  The show is scheduled for Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st.  Dress Rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, April 18th.  To be eligible for the show, you MUST be available for both performances and the entire dress rehearsal.

Audition Times:  Sign up sheets are in the front office.

WALK A THON

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year is coming up in just a few weeks!!!   This year will be even better than last.  Along with the raffle for the ‘Limo and Lunch with Principal Kessler’, there will be prizes for top earners!  Pledge forms with money are due March 2nd.  Go to www.riversidedriveparents.org to DOWNLOAD a pledge form if you haven’t received one yet.

Remember:

• $20 pledges = water bottle
• 100% Class participation = 15 minutes additional recess time
• Every $50 = 1 entry into the raffle for the ‘Limo and Lunch with Principal Kessler’

DONORS CHOOSE DONATIONS UPDATE

WHEN:  Extended to February 16

The Donors Choose gift cards expiration date has been extended to February 16th.  Make sure to put them to good use.  Ask your teacher if he/she plans on setting up a project.  If he/she says no, there are plenty of teachers at Riverside who can use that donation.  One of those teachers could be your child’s teacher next year!
