KINSA FLUency PROGRAM

Dear Parents!
Very exciting news from our school — We’ve been selected as one of only 30 schools selected to participate in the Kinsa FLUency program, out of over 520 applicants so far!

Through the FLUency program, Kinsa will provide each family at our school with their award-winning Smart Thermometer for free ($30 value, sells at 7,000 retail stores nationwide, including Apple stores) and create a school group for us where parents can anonymously share information related to illness and symptoms. This smart technology provides a better view into “what’s going around” our school so we can keep our students and our community healthier, reduce costly and disruptive sick days and fight bugs before they hit us hard.

Please watch this short 3 minute video on the Kinsa FLUency program at one of their pilot schools from last year, Travis Heights Elementary in Austin, TX. Kinsa recently heard from Travis Heights that they had their highest attendance rate last year!

Feel free to view the Kinsa website for more information on the company – Kinsa has received tremendous press coverage, including on Good Morning America, the TODAY Show, USA Today, and others, and was recently featured in the Journal of the American Medical Association (Sept. 8, 2015).

The program is already in full swing, and there are only a couple of weeks to get your FREE thermometer.  Brochures will go home Monday. But you can sign up at the website enclosed. Don’t wait!

We are very excited and proud to have been chosen as one of their first schools for the year, and we look forward to a great, healthy school year!
